Oakcreast and Girls Camp

Well Oakcreast was really spiritual and fun. We got to do fun things like a zip line, a parachute, and a game of basketball. We were separated into many different groups. I was put in Flip Flops group. Flip Flop was my councilor. I tried to take a lot of pictures, but it was hard. I loved Oakcreast because it was spiritual and I loved Girls Camp because it was just really fun. At girls camp we did lots of pranks and only got in a little bit of trouble. I became better friends with lots of other girls. I also made a flower crown, a horse, and a catapult. It was amazing! I'm already excited about next year!

Busy Week

Last week and this week are busy weeks. Last week I went and saw Annie at the Murray Amphitheater. It was really good and my friends were all fabulous. We also went to swimming, to Ms. Margenes, and to the park every day(Free Lunch.) One exciting thing happening this week is Peter Pan. It is over at West Valley and it is going to be amazing! I kind of feel sorry for Ammon because he has such a short amount of free time. He goes to work and then comes home for an Hour or so and then off to Peter Pan. He was really tired yesterday and took a 3 hour nap! I am not in Peter Pan. I am jealous, but only a little bit. This Tuesday I am going to go to the temple and do baptisms and then I will come home, get changed, and go to Grandma Blacks. Quite a fun, busy week!

Hilarious Stories

So one of the weekly things I have to do is do creative writing. Turns out my mom had us do creative writing when we were little. Some of the stories are really hilarious! For example this Jonahs explanation for why the grass is green. From his own words although he would never admit it.

Why the Grass is Green
Because the lava is in the ground. They experimented with seeds to make little spinach. Then they just put little toothpicks in the ground and painted it green. They take the toothpicks out to mow, but the spiky green stays. If they don't mow it it turns brown.
The End
Jonah Age 5
Okay I have to admit I have some pretty good stories to. Not as funny but just as interesting.

If I could make a Movie...
If I could make a movie it would be about jumping jelly beans who are forces to work as entertainers for the king and queen. The ones who refuse have to work as servants doing housework.( It is very hard for jumping jelly beans you know.) They try to escape. They don't find out what happens if I ever make a movie.
The End

Calebs stories are hilarious, but I will share them later

See Ya!

Happy Summer!

This summer I have quite a bit planned. I am super exciter for girls camp, Oakcrest, and our huge two and a half week road trip to Washington DC! My mom also planned and gave us each our chores last week. We will prepare for DC by Spying in the National Spy Museum(Cleaning the family room, that's my chore) Picking up after the animals in the National Zoo(Cleaning the living room, can you believe she called us animals! That's Micah's chore.) Investigating the Black/White House(Finding the differences in our kitchen and the white house kitchen, That is the chore Jonah has. He thinks it is the worst Job ever. Bwa Ha Ha Ha!) Then you get to visit the Air and Space Museum(Doing all the random jobs in the house, such as the bathroom or the front yard, that is what Caleb has to do.)

You may have noticed that Ammon has not been mentioned. Well Ammon is not doing much summer stuff with us. He has a job at Cub Country that required him like every day. He leaves at 7:30 and comes back in the afternoon. He just has to do 3 things each week. Clean the car, vacuum the car, and mow the lawn. Then again he doesn't get all of the rewards we are. He does get to go to Hawaii, but he seems to still be saving money.Oh well, hope he has a fun summer.

Every week I will do a blog post for my homework so you will he from me more often. I hope that that is a good thing!

Thanks, Emma June

Well, I am doing fine, new term and all A's ( of course it's always that way) I am still a very good citizen and actually was amazing enough to have perfect attendance the whole entire term! I got a subway sandwich from my principal.I don't understand why my friend, Lia, got one when she was gone on vacation for two periods. Oh well, at least I got one! Well, Happy New Term! Emma Black
